Dr. Fancher

Dr. Melissa Fancher graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.S. in Biological Sciences before spending four years doing scientific research at Vanderbilt University. This experience led her to pursue her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tennessee.

Following graduation, Dr. Fancher moved to Clarksville where she started her career as well as her family. She joined Sango Veterinary Hospital in May 2025 and has an interest in dentistry and preventative medicine. She and her husband are blessed with two beautiful children, a Border Collie (Dixie), four cats (Roxy, Jax, Zucchini, and Chili), and a large fish aquarium.

Dr. Fancher is obsessed with the beach and enjoys collecting seashells. When she’s not at work you can find Dr. Fancher at the local baseball field, trying different recipes in her kitchen, or spending time with her family. She looks forward to partnering with you to help your fur baby live a happy, healthy life!
