Dr. Miyakawa

Dr. Miyakawa grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Kentucky in 2004. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2008.

Dr. Miyakawa joined Sango Veterinary Hospital in 2026. Her main focus is preventative medicine, but she also has interests in emergency medicine, surgery, and dermatology. She has a cat named Emma and 3 children that keep her busy. Dr. Miyakawa is very excited to join the team at Sango Veterinary Hosipital and meeting your pets!
